,sans-serif;--awb-text-font-style:normal;--awb-text-font-weight:400;\"><p>Wetenschappers zijn tot de bevinding gekomen dat het drogen van de handen met jetdrogers meer aerosolen, zeg maar luchtdruppeltjes, produceert dan wanneer de handen worden gedroogd met papieren handdoeken.&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>De besmetting van gebruikers van handdrogers door spatten bleek 10 keer hoger te liggen bij gebruik van jetdrogers dan bij gebruik van papieren handdoeken.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span>De besmetting van andere toiletbezoekers was ook aanzienlijk groter.<\/p>\n<p>De resultaten hebben grote implicaties voor de hygi\u00ebne in openbare toiletten. Het drogen van de handen is een essenti\u00eble stap om optimale hygi\u00ebne te garanderen. Het helpt bij het verwijderen van de microben die na het slecht wassen van de handen op de handen achterblijven. Zo beperkt handdroging de verspreiding van infecties in de samenleving.<\/p>\n<p>De studie werd eerder dit jaar uitgevoerd door een team van het<strong>&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Leeds Institute of Medical Research van de Britse universiteit van Leeds en het departement microbiologie van de opleidingsziekenhuizen van Leeds van de NHS Trust in het Verenigd Koninkrijk<\/span>.&nbsp;<\/strong>De deelnemers droogden hun handen met een jetdroger of met papieren handdoeken. Ze droegen mondmaskers om het risico op het inademen van virussen te meten. &#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"
